Rather than extending the school year, we will attend school on the following Fridays:
February 23, March 8, April 5, April 26, and May 10. If no further days are missed, our last day of school will remain Thursday, May 16.
Ouachita school district is requesting a waiver from A.C.A. 6-10-106.
The specific waiver being requested is to allow us to set our individual district's first day of class to be "no earlier than Monday, August 12."
