Course Choice is a new program that gives Arkansas students in grades 6-12 the opportunity to take high-quality courses that may not be available at their home school.
These courses can help students explore their interests, earn important credits, and prepare for life after high school – whether they plan to attend college, join the military, or start a career.

Reminder we will be in school tomorrow to make up days missed due to inclement weather.

HAPPY LOVE TEACHING WEEK 2026❤️
We celebrated the heart of Arkansas classrooms all week long.
High School Edition: What makes you love teaching?
Here are some of their answers:
" I love teaching because I get to help students discover what they are capable of. There is nothing better than watching a student look back at where they started and realize just how much they’ve grown."-Kristen Coleman, Jr High English
"There is something deeply meaningful about stepping into a classroom each day knowing that what happens there has the potential to shape lives. For me, teaching is far more than delivering content, it is about investing in people. My students are the highlight of my day. Their questions, their growth, and individuality make every lesson worthwhile. Sharing my passion for science allows me to ignite curiosity and help students see the world with wonder and understanding. Even more rewarding are the relationships built along the way with both students and colleagues. Connections that extend well beyond graduation. Watching students flourish into the confident, capable professionals that I always knew they could become is both a privilege and a lasting joy. "-Stephen Bellomy, HS Science
