ACT 1039 DYSLEXIA INFORMATION

Ouachita Elementary School

During the 2017-18 school year, Ouachita Elementary School used the evidenced-based Barton Reading Program and The Sonday system in small group intervention to address the deficit areas of students identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.

During the 2017-18 school year, ten students attending Ouachita Elementary School received dyslexia intervention services from a trained dyslexia interventionist.

During the 2017-18 school year, three students attending Ouachita Elementary School were identified as exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia.
